SEE VIOLINS OF HOPE AT VENUES ACROSS IOWA
The collection of 67 violins, a viola and a cello includes restored instruments meant to be played and violins for exhibition only. Each venue’s selection of exhibition instruments is showcased in the galleries below. Contact the venue to confirm which instruments are on exhibit prior to your visit as some violins will be temporarily taken off exhibit to be played in concerts.
HOURS
The exhibition is in the arts wing of Caspe Terrace. The museum is currently being remodeled. Please call 515.987.0899 ext.216 to make an appointment to visit the exhibit.
Violins are on exhibit at the Sioux City Orpheum Theatre during the April 18 concert and during the two Violins of Hope Strings concerts on April 22.
The violin that was thrown from the train can be seen on exhibit at the Sioux City Railroad Museum during a Violins of Hope strings concert at Holocaust Rails on Thursday, April 23 at 6:30 PM.
